
One of the brightest centre back of Zenith Emperor Fc, Ayinde Hammed has been granted permission to leave the camp in a bid to write his National Examination Council, NECO exams.
NECO is one of the exams for senior secondary schools’ leavers in Nigeria who seek to progress in their academic pursuit into tertiary institutions and this year entry for students began late June 2022.
Since Ahmed’s arrival to the club this year, the lanky defender who turned 18 years on July 3, 2022 has featured in all nine matches played so far in 2022/2023 season of the ongoing Nigeria’s third division league- Nationwide League One, NLO.
He is expected to return to the camp after his exams.
On the management part, in a statement, they wrote: “We wish our player Ayinde Hammed success in his exams. We are a club that understand the importance of academic and we encourage our players to midwife both their choice of career as a footballer and academic. They both work hand in hand.
“Hammed, beyond doubt has proven to be exceptional both on and off field, we will dearly miss him. We make use of best legs in our next match as the league progresses.” The statement read.
