Ahead of the 2023 Gothia Cup, Zenith Emperor Football Club, ZEFC have been selected as the club from Nigeria, West Africa to raise the country’s flag at the Opening Ceremony Parade of Nations in Sweden.
The Gothia Cup is the world’s largest and most international youth football tournament. Each year teams from 80 nations take part.
The Lagos-based club registered to compete in this year’s edition.
Ahead of the tournament, the club has begun with the overhauling of the team, ensuring to build a formidable team that will make the country proud.
